Rusty Gordon is a high tech entrepreneur who has led numerous successful business turnarounds, startups and acquisitions over the last 30 years, including Knowlagent, iFleet, ADS NetTools, Peachtree Software and Choice Retail Systems. Rusty has also applied his legendary visionary leadership style and business building skills to many Atlanta area technology associations and nonprofit organizations as a senior officer or board member, including the Technology Executive Roundtable, Teacher Laptop Association, and High Tech Ministries.
Rusty attended the U.S. Naval Academy and received his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Auburn University in 1975, where he also played on the AU tennis team. He was recognized by the school as it outstanding industrial engineering alumnus in 2002. He and his wife, Ann, have three children and three grandchildren. He is the lay leader at Roswell United Methodist Church and for the last 16 years has focused his community service on guiding and teaching young adults in the metro Atlanta area. A passionate speaker and author on Servant Leadership, Rusty’s leisure interest and hobbies include hunting, fishing, tennis, baseball and college football.
Steve Bacastow is a 30-year veteran of the high-tech industry and currently serves as Chief Technology and Compliance Officer of Fintech, Payouts Network, Inc. In this capacity Steve leverages his deep expertise in software engineering, cyber security, audit, product management, IT best practices, business development, compliance, and intellectual property. His reputation as a practical innovator is well-known across the Atlanta area technology community. Steve previously served as the CTO and Chief IP and Compliance Officer for Mozido, a leading provider of consumer financial payment and related apps. As a co-founder of CorFire, Steve was instrumental in the development and launch of the first commercial TSM platform in support of the Google Wallet. He is adept at new product visioning and team building with a demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams over a variety of projects.
Matthew is the CEO of Centegix. Prior to that he was VP, Professional Services for Cbeyond. Prior to this he served as the President of High Tech Ministries and was instrumental in the organization’s growth and transformation. Matthew has 20+ years of experience building and leading technology professional services businesses. He built his career on a foundation of technology having been a programmer, technical architect and DBA.
Jay brings thought leadership around the information security, privacy and compliance space to CloudVault Health leveraging his knowledge and experience in information security and privacy, both of which are at the core of CloudVault Health business. Through consulting and on-staff leadership, Jay has been immersed in mission-critical technology security issues with organizations such as IBM Global Services, VISA, Dyntek, Alpha Data Systems and Cynergistech, as well as through his foundational role at Borderhawk, a critical infrastructure focused information security and cyber threat consultancy designated by the OCR to serve as a Monitor for Post Breach, Corrective Action Plan remediation services. Jay also has vast experience in state government, acquiring a keen understanding of regulations related to business and security.
His insights and expertise are pivotal in helping CloudVault Health clients evaluate existing information security practices and understanding the value in CVH’s custom software that discovers, classifies, reports, secures and controls the sharing of highly sensitive, highly regulated information. Information that often falls under federal mandates such as the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule, HITEC, the PCI Council and most states Attorney Generals office in their efforts to protect the sensitive healthcare and financial related information of their citizens.
Jay and his wife Becky have four adult children. Family leisure activities include hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, spending time on the water including adventures covering hundreds of miles during jet ski based river and ocean exploration as well as ongoing involvement in ministry and mentoring activities.
Richard is an accomplished senior executive with twenty-five years of management and leadership experience in healthcare-related Information Technology. He is a strategic visionary, with a proven track record of success in leading healthcare software, technology and professional services businesses in various stages of growth and maturity. His experience and expertise ranges from leadership roles across the healthcare technology landscape, including product development & management, delivery and implementation, client experience, marketing, sales and operations. Richard has a unique blend of healthcare domain expertise, business sense, technical acumen and a strong passion for evolving organizational disciplines and scaling processes to drive growth and goal achievement.
Some of Richard’s more visible ventures include Integrated Medical Networks, funded by Oracle and acquired by QuadraMed Corporation; the industry leading healthcare interoperability solution Cloverleaf ®, acquired by Lawson Software and subsequently acquired by Infor; and CareMedic Systems, acquired by United Healthcare, and now the foundation of Optum’s $1.5B hospital revenue cycle workflow and analytics platform. Each of these companies launched disruptive, highly differentiated solutions at the time, and were recognized leaders in the U.S. as well as globally (Canada, Europe, Asia, South America, and Middle East).
Richard earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Mississippi, and serves as Executive-in-Residence at Georgia Tech’s prestigious Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), which helps entrepreneurs develop and launch great, innovative technology companies and was recently named among the The Top 10 Technology Incubators in the World by Forbes magazine. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Center for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) in Washington, DC, and the Board of Directors of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG Health).

He has demonstrated ability to increase earnings growth by leveraging scale, proven practices from multiple industry verticals and technology infrastructure.
He has a deep expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, sales & operations management, large program management, cross-functional team building and employee engagement. He also has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions and synergy capture. Currently, he serves as Vice President, Strategy & Operations of AmerisourceBergen. Derek is responsible for developing and driving the growth strategy for Provider Solutions Group, and ensuring alignment with broader corporate strategies.
Duncan James (Healthcare Advisory Board) is an Operating Partner with Francisco Partners and focuses on the healthcare IT market. Prior to Operating Partner role with Francisco Partners, Duncan was the CEO of two private-equity backed healthcare IT companies, MModal and QuadraMed. He also served as Group President at McKesson Corporation for 9 years responsible for the hospital and health systems market solutions and was a member of the McKesson Corporate Operating Committee. Duncan brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare IT spanning domestic and international operations, strategic planning, sales and marketing, services, and product management.
